Job Title: Head of Compliance Monitoring

Assignment Profile:
Our client is a highly regarded Asset Manager. Due to continued expansion of the business they are seeking to engage a Head of Compliance Monitoring. The Successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Head of Compliance

The main purpose of the role will be to devise and implement a risk based monitoring programme that will cover the various businesses of the company thereby ensuring the regulatory obligations are achieved and maintained 

Other duties will include the following; 

The planning and implementation of the Risk based Monitoring Programme across the various businesses on an annual basis 

You will be expected to take control of and drive the regulatory monitoring of the business forward and develop and implement new ideas to ensure that the monitoring programme remains consistent with the changing needs of the various businesses. 

Assisting the compliance department in enhancing a good compliance culture across the business 

Working on other regulatory projects as and when directed by the Head of Compliance and generally contributing and being as asset the compliance department

Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will be degree educated and hold other industry qualifications. You will have a minimum of 7 years compliance monitoring experience, as well as other regulatory experience with an Asset Manager 

You will have held a similar position with a large and well respected financial services institution and be able to adopt a robust approach in devising and implementing the company monitoring plan. 

You will be a confident and dynamic individual who is able to able to stand firm when necessary without being forceful or offensive in your manner gaining the respect of the other departments

Excellent interpersonal skills are also required as would be expected of such a senior position 

Management of junior members of staff may also be required
