Assignment Profile:
Our client is a highly regarded financial services company. They are seeking to employ an experience International Procurement Manager The main purpose of the role Responsible for sourcing and contract management of spend categories with a primary focus on Professional Services. The individual will have strong experience working with indirect professional services such as Legal, Audit, Temporary Staffing, Consultancy, Finance and Human Resources.  This role requires a strong analytic professional with the ability to manage across the entire cost category, influence key business stakeholders, develop sourcing strategies, leverage spend and benchmark offerings against industry standards. The key objective is to hold and develop strategic relationships and implement new and innovative solutions aligned to business needs delivering improved value for money Duties and responsibilities Managing the supply base for the Professional Services Category in collaboration with respective Corporate Functions, including Benefits, Legal, Audit, Training, Finance, Temporary Staffing, Consultancy. Responsible for developing category plans, business cases, defining and managing procurement strategies. Lead cross-functional project teams through the sourcing process and ensure compliance Drive cost management of the professional services category with the expectation of delivering savings targets and improved value for money Rationalise supplier base and aggregate spend to optimise leverage Develop strategic supplier relationships to promote joint working, with shared objectives for mutual benefit and superior return on services spend Lead / conduct negotiations, develop contracts and framework agreements including terms and conditions, that meet requirements, driving desired behaviour and outcomes Work closely with stakeholders to understand the current situation, issues and defining requirements Gather data and complete spend analysis to identify, develop and assess options Establish facts and findings to draw conclusions and make recommendations Complete and present business case that satisfies requirements and alignment with business strategy Proactively manage all aspects of implementation including entry / exit of suppliers and associated change management Develop and manage category spend approval processes interfacing with Group senior management Work in a way that positively engages the support of stakeholders to meet their business needs

Candidate Profile:
Bachelors Degree 5-7 years in purchasing with specific expertise in the professional services indirect spend category as well as industry benchmarking Prior experience from work in a comparable Professional Services firm can be an advantage Ability to interpret, amend and negotiate favorable contractual terms with large and smaller niche suppliers Solid contract negotiation skills & ability to interface effectively with legal team A strong focus on solid sourcing and expense management programs, analyzing spend categories Ability to effectively lead procurement initiatives and manage change within the organization. Excellent presentation skills, ability to interact with clients on a senior management level, relationship management and the ability to multitask Able to build relationships with multiple departments with the ability to introduce a procurement methodology is essential
