Assignment Profile:
Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Pensions Audit Manger to work in one of the offices located in the South East You will be managing a Portfolio of Pension Schemes; As in all aspects of Audit, complying with the firm’s procedures and relevant statutory obligations is essential You will also be responsible for taking on some administrative duties in the department Other duties will include; Planning the assignments in accordance with the firms standard procedures and confirm arrangements with client, including likely costs and billing arrangements Briefing staff on the client’s business and the pre-assignment instructions, supervising and controlling the completion of work, and to undertake ‘on the job’ training and appraisals where necessary To ensure the assignments are completed within budget and to discuss all material points arising with the assignment partner and client immediately, particularly in relation to any anticipated over runs To liaise with the client throughout the year and to practice the principles of excellent client services at all times To ensure appropriate liaison takes place with other departments to ensure that client’s needs are services and attended to in a timely manner To develop a detailed knowledge of the firms specialist services and to under-take special project work in response to client requirements To perform the firms review and completion procedures and to attend the final client meeting and to ensure the client is happy with the final set of accounts presented To maintain an advances level of technical knowledge through appropriate reading and of courses and fulfill the firms CPD requirements To adequately research and prepare for new assignments and to take part in formal presentations to clients To take an active involvement in prospective client seminars

Candidate Profile:
CANDIDATE PROFILE Several years Pensions Audit experience ACA/CA/ACCA qualified Experience of Auditing Pension Schemes and large corporate companies Commercially strong and aware Excellent communication skills both written and oral
